Privacy Policy

Briggs Solutions for Business
Effective date: October 29, 2026

This policy explains how Briggs Solutions for Business ("Briggs," "we," "us") handles personal information in connection with our website, business inquiries, advisory and operational services, scheduling, referrals, and optional text messaging programs.

Information we receive

We receive information you give us, such as your name, company, business email, telephone number, service interests, appointment details, messages, and communication preferences. If you introduce another person, we may receive that person's business contact details and the context of the introduction. Share only information appropriate to that introduction. Do not send sensitive personal information through general website forms or text messages.

Our communications systems also process message contents, delivery and opt-out information, and available records of SMS consent, such as your consent choice and submission details. Providing a telephone number, becoming a client, booking an appointment, or being referred to us does not by itself authorize texts.

We also receive information associated with payments, recordings made with permission, and files clients upload, as described below.

Website and linked-service providers may receive technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, pages visited, and usage information through cookies or similar technologies.

How we use information

We use information to answer inquiries, provide and administer requested services, arrange meetings, manage introductions, maintain business records, and operate and protect our systems. We use your contact details to communicate about your requests and services, subject to your choices and applicable requirements.

If you explicitly agree to texts for the relevant purpose, we use your mobile number for one-to-one service conversations and appointment follow-ups. Our BNI meeting texts cover reminders and schedule changes about a meeting you booked. Our referral texts acknowledge a referral you submitted and ask related follow-up questions. A referrer's permission never supplies the introduced person's permission. These programs do not send promotional offers or advertising texts. BNI meeting confirmations, calendar invitations, and Google Meet details are provided by email; optional texts supplement those communications.

Payments

Briggs accepts online payments through Stripe or payment links, and payments through approved ACH arrangements. Payment transactions involve billing and transaction information needed to process the payment and administer the related service. Payment providers handle information required for their payment services under their own privacy notices. Contact us with questions about a payment or its associated records.

Call recordings

We record some discovery and client calls after requesting and receiving verbal permission before recording begins. A recording can include participants’ voices and information discussed during the call. Booking a meeting, agreeing to these policies, or consenting to texts does not itself give permission to record a call. Contact us with questions or requests concerning a recording involving you.

Client file uploads

We accept files that clients upload in connection with our services. Uploaded files may contain business information and personal information included in their contents. We use information submitted through client uploads to handle the related request and provide the services you seek. Please provide only files and information appropriate to that work.

Service providers and disclosures

We do not sell personal information or share it for another business's marketing. Providers supporting our website, customer relationship management, messaging, email, scheduling, payments, and related operations process information needed to perform those services for us. These services include HighLevel/LeadConnector, Google scheduling and meeting services, HubSpot services linked from our website, and Stripe payment services. We may disclose information when legally required or as necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or threats to rights or safety.

Mobile information and text-message consent

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Support contractors may handle information necessary to provide services, including customer support and message delivery, on our behalf. SMS opt-in information and consent are excluded from other categories of information sharing and are not disclosed to third parties for their independent use. Messaging providers may process that information only as needed to operate our texting program for us.

You choose whether to receive texts. SMS consent is not a condition of buying services, booking an appointment, or submitting an inquiry or referral. Email subscriptions and contact-method preferences alone do not enroll you in texts. Each consent is limited to the purpose you accepted. Message frequency varies with your interactions and the program you select. Your wireless provider may charge message and data rates.

Reply STOP to a Briggs text to unsubscribe, or HELP for assistance. You can also contact Ron at [email protected] or 207-401-7447. See our SMS Terms & Conditions for program details.

Cookies and linked services

Our website runs on HighLevel/LeadConnector and uses Cloudflare performance measurement. It links to scheduling and newsletter services, including HubSpot. Those services may use cookies or similar technologies and have their own privacy notices. Briggs does not currently use advertising pixels or upload customer audiences for advertising. Your browser settings let you manage cookies; blocking some cookies may affect available features.

Retention and protection

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably needed to respond to your requests, provide services, manage our business relationship, and meet applicable legal or recordkeeping requirements. Retention periods vary with the type of information, the purpose for which it was collected, and our legal obligations. We may retain limited SMS consent and opt-out records to document permission and honor communication preferences. When you request deletion, we consider these needs and any applicable service-provider retention requirements.

We use administrative and technical measures appropriate to the information we handle. Online transmission and storage carry risks; absolute security cannot be promised.

Your choices and privacy requests

Contact Ron at [email protected] or 207-401-7447 to ask about your information or request access, correction, or deletion. We may verify your identity and retain information needed to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or honor a request not to contact you. Additional rights may apply under the laws governing your information; contact us to exercise those rights.

Use STOP to end text messaging. To stop marketing email, use the unsubscribe instructions in the email or contact us. Declining texts does not prevent you from requesting services or contacting us through other available channels.

Children

Our services and text programs are intended for adults conducting business. They are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and address it.

Updates and contact

We may revise this policy as our services or practices change. The effective date identifies the published version; additional notice will be provided when required.
