About Us
Hi, my name is Ashleigh and I love helping people and businesses reach their greatest potential.
I’m so excited to share a little about myself with you!
Hiring someone to come in and help you with your business can be a big deal and as humans, we’re so much more than just a resume or CV that lists our experiences and accomplishments. So I wanted to provide the full picture, going a little beyond the surface, so you know who you’re working with when I consult for your business.
I was born and raised in Maine and I love it here. But as much as I love Maine, I also love traveling. I’ve been to 41 states in the U.S. and 5 foreign countries. I love exploring different areas of the world and learning about the people, customs and traditions that make them unique.
Looking back it’s not hard to understand why I ended up in the business world, you might say I grew up immersed in small and early-stage business. But growing up I wanted to be a teacher, I just loved learning and helping others learn new things as well. When I was eight I had my first “job” working in my uncle’s bookstore dusting shelves and printing banners for the windows and when I was 14 my parents opened a toy store adjacent to our family home. You read that right, I grew up in a toy store. While these were interesting, for me, they were chores.
However, as I got older I found I loved working in businesses, working with customers and providing positive experiences. I eventually moved on from my family’s store to a family car dealership. I loved digging in and learning about everything there is to know about a business, which led me to get my degree in business rather than education. Little did I know I'd still end up teaching!
After college, I stumbled my way into a software training job which set me on the path to where I am now. Now, I get to combine all of my passions: teaching, business management and creating superior customer experiences as a business consultant. It’s pretty awesome!
While business is a very large portion of my life, it’s certainly not everything. I live in Central Maine with my dog Teddy and my cat Baer and love all the seasons that come with being in the northeast. During the warmer months, you can find me road biking, kayaking, camping and hiking while in the colder months I can be found cross country skiing and snowshoeing. I try to explore a new region of the world at least once a year.
While I am a professional and do present myself that way I think it’s important to see all sides of a person so below are some of my favorite “out of the office” photos.
